HEPATOBILIARY INTERVENTION: CBD STENTING FOR PERIAMPULLARY TUMOR

Common bile duct stenting was performed for malignant biliary obstruction secondary to periampullary tumor. The procedure relieved obstructive jaundice, improved biliary drainage, reduced bilirubin levels, and alleviated symptoms such as pruritus and cholangitis. Metallic stenting provided durable palliation, improved nutritional status, and enabled further surgical or oncological treatment planning
